Southridge Construction was originally started by Mike Botts and David Mosley in 1992. They had worked together before and decided to team up and make a go at it. In 1995, David moved and sold his share to Mike, who has owned it ever since, incorporating in 1996.
Southridge has always had one simple goal — do a good job for a fair price. That still holds true today. When you hire Southridge, you have the reassurance that there are real people involved. Not a big corporation or an AI telling you to press 1 for English.
In that time, the company has grown from a two-man operation to 11, and from two tractors to 12 pieces of heavy equipment — serving clients across La Plata County and surrounding areas. Every job is personally overseen by Mike to make sure it meets our standards before we pack up and leave.
Our crew has decades of combined experience in excavation, grading, and site work. Every operator on the Southridge team is professional, safety-conscious, and takes ownership of their work.
We maintain a fleet of modern, well-serviced equipment sized for residential lots up to large commercial projects — so your job never waits on the right machine.
We give you an honest estimate and stick to it. If something changes, we tell you before we act.
We don't rush through jobs. Every cut, grade, and trench is done to spec and inspected before we leave.
Jobsite safety is non-negotiable. Our team follows safe work practices on every project, every day.
We minimize disturbance beyond the work area and take care of the land we're trusted to work on.
